A Christmas still life painted in 1886 by the Norwich still-life painter Eloise Harriet Stannard: oranges, black grapes and holly with red berries laid on a white cloth. Look for the flesh of the half-peeled orange, the highlight on each grape, and behind them the gleam of a glass and a wooden biscuit barrel lettered BISCUITS. She was the daughter of the Norwich School landscape painter Alfred Stannard.
