A night of Christmas feasting painted in 1895–96 by the Norwegian painter Lars Jorde, set at the Skoug farm in Ringsaker. Sleighs left by the guests stand in the snow before a red farmhouse with every window lit, and a horse and a lantern wait in the blue dusk. The museum bought it in 1896 with the surplus from that year's State Art Exhibition, and it is counted as the chief work of Jorde's mood painting of the 1890s.
