Sewing the Sail
Joaquín Sorolla
On a terrace hung with flowers, women and fishermen sew a huge white sail. Sunlight filtering through the leaves leaves blue and yellow shadows in every fold, showing how many colours the Valencian painter of light could find in white. The sail fills most of the picture, so in the puzzle it is matched along the shadows of its folds.
