Woman with Poppies (1898), a decorative design made as a poster for an exhibition at the Salon des Cent. A woman with green leaves in her hair leans forward on her arms before a large circle of red poppies on blue mosaic; below are her patterned bodice and yellow skirt, and at lower left a stack of framed pictures. The ring of red poppies and the face are the landmarks; the yellow skirt and the pale corners above can wait until the end.
