Night's Rest, the last of the four Times of the Day panels of 1899. A woman in white sleeps with her head buried in her arms, a deep blue night sky and the shadows of trees behind her and pink flowers blooming in the upper corners. The Gothic-arch window and gilt frame match the other three panels, so the frame is the easy start; inside, the white gown and pink flowers are the landmarks and the dark night comes last.
