Painted in 1902: under a burning evening sky a lone figure trudges through the snow towards the village. The sunset flares between the silhouettes of pines, and a small boat lies in a half-frozen stream that catches the colour of the sky. The sharp edge between dark trees and bright sky makes the outlines of the trees a good place to start the puzzle.
