Postcard no. 168 of the Wiener Werkstätte, a Christmas card designed by Josef Diveky in 1908. Under a sky where stars drift like a river, figures in blue crowd through the candlelit doorway of a church tower, and one more woman hurries towards it on the right. Bold black outlines and a handful of flat colours, with pale green for the snowy roofs and ground, give it the crisp graphic style of the workshop’s cards.
