A Christmas postcard by Moriz Jung, published by the Wiener Werkstätte in 1907. Snow-crusted trunks rise against the black night of a forest, and on the blue-speckled snow a white-bearded old man lies curled up in a dark cloak, apparently asleep, beside a little fir tree hung with star-like lights. Jung designed many witty postcards for the workshop before he was killed in the First World War in 1915.
