A Christmas postcard from around 1910 showing the Nativity in the stable. Mary, in a red gown and a blue mantle scattered with stars, holds the Child while Joseph looks on from behind, and shepherds kneel in the foreground. A beam of light slants down from the star past a palm tree to the thatched roof, and an ox peers in at right; the green frame with gilt corner ornaments makes a clear edge for the puzzle.
