An advertising poster of 1897 for the liqueur La Trappistine. A woman in a white gown with long fair hair holds pink flowers before a large ornamental halo, her hand resting on the bottle on a small table at her side. In this soft scheme of lavender and beige only the flowers and the bottle carry strong colour, so the title, the halo pattern and the bottle are the landmarks; the white gown is pieced along its folds.
