The poster for the 20th exhibition of the Salon des Cent, held in March–April 1896 at the magazine La Plume's offices. A woman in profile, eyes closed, lets her long brown hair stream over her shoulder and holds a daisy and a quill; the title sits on a red panel above beside the salon's heart-and-star emblem. In these soft pinks and greys the red panel and the rippling hair are the landmarks; the apricot ground below follows the lettering.
