Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus, Munich

A young blue horse stands with its head bowed before hills that roll in pink, violet and yellow. Its body is modelled in every step of blue from deep indigo to near white, with green leaves and red earth below to set it off. It dates from 1911, the year Der Blaue Reiter was founded, and hangs in the Lenbachhaus in Munich.
