Christmas Puck, 1912
Unknown
The cover of Christmas Puck for 4 December 1912. A smiling woman with mistletoe tucked into her dark curls looks out through a jagged red hole, as if she had burst through the olive-brown page, while a small Santa with his sack bows at lower left and Puck, the magazine's mascot, doffs his top hat at lower right. The wide olive ground has little variation and is the tricky part of the puzzle.
