The Christmas number of The Saturday Evening Post for 3 December 1904. A woman in medieval dress, with a white wimple and a red gown, carries in a round Christmas pudding topped with a sprig on a platter draped with a napkin, while a ribbon banner curls above her. German-born J. C. Leyendecker went on to paint more than 300 covers for the magazine.
