Jupiter's Great Red Spot
Juno spacecraft
The Great Red Spot photographed by the Juno spacecraft in July 2017 from only 9,000 km above Jupiter's clouds. This storm, larger than Earth, has been swirling for at least 350 years; citizen scientists processed the raw data to bring out the texture of the clouds and the red vortex so vividly.
