Youth, from the calendar series The Four Ages of Man for the chocolate makers Masson and Mexicain. A fair-haired girl in an orange dress and a youth in white with red flowers in the hair sit together on a branch over a river, the sunset reflected in the water; the pink frame and the April–June calendar repeat the first sheet's layout. Fit the Chocolat Mexicain lettering and the calendar grid first, then build the central scene from the orange dress and red flowers.
