Childhood, the first sheet of the calendar series The Four Ages of Man for the chocolate makers Masson and Mexicain. A woman in a grey-green robe holds a fair-haired naked toddler standing on her lap, who reaches out to birds flying across an orange sunset sky; a pink ornamental frame surrounds the scene, with the calendar for January to March below. The Chocolat Masson lettering and the calendar grid anchor the puzzle; join the sunset sky and branches by their colour gradients.
