The Hounds Began Suddenly to Howl in Chorus
Cecil Aldin
Cecil Aldin was an English illustrator of dogs and the hunting field in the early twentieth century. Here dozens of hounds lift their heads and give tongue at once, and no two are marked alike. The arrangement of the patches is exactly what tells you where a piece goes — one of the most enjoyable pictures on this shelf.
