Three cats, orange and blue, singing with their mouths open. Wain made his name across Britain by standing cats upright, dressing them and giving them faces, and the annuals full of his drawings sold every year. Orange and blue are complementary colours placed side by side, which makes sorting the pieces by colour unusually easy.
