Under a thin crescent moon a woman with a cloak over her head and a man holding a lantern meet at the corner of a wall. The inscription on the wall gives the picture its meaning: "The moon sinks, the night is deep, and what these two feel only the two of them know." It is Shin Yun-bok's most famous image of love in Joseon by night.
