Wheatfield with Crows
Vincent van Gogh
Painted at Auvers a few weeks before van Gogh's death. Under a stormy sky a yellow wheatfield splits into three paths and a flock of crows rises. He wrote that in these fields he tried to express sadness and extreme loneliness, yet also the health and strength of the countryside.
