An illustration by Charles Robinson for the 1913 edition of Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince and Other Tales. Hans, from The Devoted Friend, stands in his garden; the flowers in it were everything he owned. Blossom is scattered over the whole surface, breaking the colour up finely so that every piece carries a clue.
