A scene from one of the far-country tales the swallow tells in The Happy Prince. A crowd of figures stands together, each robe patterned differently, and it shows Robinson’s decorative sense at its best. The patterning is dense, which means every piece is strongly marked and the picture goes together better than you would expect.
