A poster announcing an American tour by the young Czech cellist Zdenka Černý, billed as the greatest Bohemian violoncellist. In a pale grey-green dress she holds her cello and bow while turning a page on the music stand, white blossoms spread behind her, and the lower half is given over to large red letters. The red lettering and the dark outline of the cello come together first; the pale background is stitched along the white petals.
