A poster for Bleu Deschamps, a laundry bluing that whitened linen. A laundress in a white blouse lifts a blue-tinged cloth from a wooden tub full of white washing, a round pattern of red flowers and green leaves spreads behind her, and the big blue letters at the top and en vente ici at the bottom bind the sheet together. Heavy blue lettering, white cloth and red flowers separate cleanly by colour, and the grain of the tub and the two crests in the upper corners fix their places.
