Sunflowers and every kind of blossom crowd the canvas in a farm garden near the Attersee. Klimt paints the flower bed like a carpet strewn with jewels, looking at nature with the same eye he brought to the gold of his portraits. With no sky or background, only flowers, it becomes a feast of colour as a puzzle.
