Vincent van Gogh
Uno de los lienzos de girasoles que van Gogh pintó en Arlés para decorar el cuarto que preparaba para Gauguin, un ensayo audaz de amarillo sobre amarillo sobre amarillo. Flores en plena floración y cabezas ya en semilla comparten el mismo jarrón, de modo que en una sola vasija cabe un ciclo de vida entero. Es el cuadro más reproducido de la National Gallery de Londres.
