Mishima aus den großformatigen Dreiundfünfzig Stationen des Tōkaidō von 1833, die Hiroshige berühmt machten. Im Morgennebel bleiben Schreintor und Dorf nur als graue Silhouetten; allein die Sänfte und der Reiter im Vordergrund haben Farbe. Der Nebel, von einem einzigen verlaufenden Druckstock gedruckt, ist der technische Stolz dieses Blatts.
