Una mujer maquillándose ante el espejo, de la serie de Utamaro Ocho vistas de mujeres de casas de té, hacia 1795. El formato de las «ocho vistas» venía de la pintura de paisaje china; él lo convirtió en escenas de la vida diaria de las mujeres. Fondo amarillo, pelo negro y el espejo redondo dan piezas sencillas.
