Vincent van Gogh
El interior de madrugada de un café junto a la estación de Arlés, donde chocan las paredes rojas, una mesa de billar verde y las lámparas amarillas. Van Gogh escribió que había intentado expresar con el rojo y el verde «las terribles pasiones de la humanidad», pintando un lugar donde uno podría enloquecer o cometer un crimen. Pasó tres noches en vela para pintarlo.
