El segundo lienzo de La epopeya eslava muestra la fiesta en honor del dios Svantovít en la isla de Rügen. Una densa multitud de blanco llena la mitad inferior, con una mujer de capa violeta sosteniendo a un niño en primera fila, mientras arriba dioses y guerreros flotan en el cielo bajo un roble cargado de hojas doradas. Las figuras del cielo y el follaje dorado son las referencias; la multitud de abajo, menuda y minuciosa, es la que más paciencia exige.
