The woman warrior Hu Sanniang from the series of 108 Heroes of the Water Margin that made Kuniyoshi famous. She wields two swords as she cuts down an enemy in a dynamic scene; the series started a craze for warrior prints. The patterns of her armour differ from piece to piece.
