George Inness
Una marisma al atardecer pintada por Inness en 1893, ya mayor: árboles entre la bruma, un cielo enrojecido y una sola garza. Absorto en el misticismo de Swedenborg, buscaba el ambiente y el espíritu antes que la descripción exacta. Los bordes suaves lo hacen difícil, pero lo cálido o lo frío del color separa las zonas.
