The Hay Wain
John Constable
Un carro vadea el río Stour en Suffolk, el más famoso de todos los paisajes ingleses. Constable pintó el río de su infancia toda su vida, y la casita de la izquierda sigue en pie. La verdad de las nubes y los reflejos asombró a los pintores franceses cuando se expuso en París y ayudó a sembrar el impresionismo.
