John James Audubon
La más famosa de las 435 láminas de «Las aves de América» de Audubon. Para mantener el ave a tamaño natural, el flamenco, muy alto, dobla el cuello para caber en la página, con flamencos menores al fondo y detalles del pico y la pata. Basada en aves observadas en los cayos de Florida, se grabó en Londres y se coloreó a mano.
